Silanna Semiconductor unveils family expansion of Flyback PWM Controllers with Integrated Active Clamp Circuits 

San Diego, CA – April 14, 2020 – Silanna Semiconductor, The Power Density Leader, today announced the launch of an industry leading expanded portfolio of Active Clamp Flyback (ACF) Controllers, with best-in-class power density, efficiency performance, and unprecedented BoM savings.

All-silicon design combines simplicity of flyback controllers with power density enabled by active clamp flyback controllers, yields over 94.5% efficiency and 27W/in3 power density for 65W AC/DC power adapters.

San Diego, CA – January 15, 2020 – Silanna Semiconductor today announced that its SZ1101 and SZ1105 fully integrated active clamp flyback (ACF) controllers for designing high-power-density AC/DC power adapters are now fully qualified and in production.

All-Silicon design combines simplicity of flyback controllers with high efficiency and power density of active clamp flyback controllers, delivering over 94% efficiency and 25W/in3 power density at 65W, for designing compact adapters for powering notebooks, video game consoles, and multi-port wall chargers.

San Diego, CA – June 25, 2019 – Silanna Semiconductor, an innovative producer of disruptive technologies, today announced its highly integrated SZPL8216A family of synchronous point-of-load (PoL) buck converters. 

These DC/DC buck converters integrate the functions of the DC/DC constant-on-time (COT) controller, output gate drivers and output power blocks all in one compact 3mmx4mm QFN package to deliver the best power density with a minimum external component count.
